                            Resignation of Director



The Board of Tianshan Goldfields Limited confirms that Mark Ashley has tendered
his resignation as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 10
September 2007.



Due to the significant increase in work load Mr. Ashley has reluctantly resigned
from the Tianshan  board to focus on a new business venture.



The Board would like to take this opportunity to extend its appreciation to Mr
Ashley for his valued contribution to the development of the company since his
appointment in April 2006 and wish him every success in his future.



The Company will announce a replacement Non-Executive director in due course.
