    ("Tianshan or the "Company")

    Tianshan confirms that on 2 July 2008 the directors of the Company approved an allotment of ordinary
    shares of no par value, following the exercise of options over ordinary shares (the "Options") as set out
    below:

    Application will be made for the ordinary shares created pursuant to the exercise of the Options (the
    "New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings in the New Ordinary Shares is
    expected to commence on 8 July 2008. 

    The total number of issued ordinary shares in the Company, including the New Ordinary Shares, is
    now 268,363,194 ordinary shares. 

    In addition, Macquarie Bank Limited have now notified the Company that the announcement made by the
    Company at 9.56am on 2 July 2008, in which Macquarie notified the Company that they had acquired a
    further 8,228,333 ordinary shares in Tianshan on 27 June 2008, actually related to shares acquired as part
    of the exercise of options referred to above. Macquarie Bank Limited's total holding in Tianshan, following
    the exercise of options above, is now 30,037,945 ordinary shares (being 11% of the total shares in issue
    following the issue of the New Ordinary Shares).
