    THE WEATHER LOTTERY PLC 

The UK`s only online society lottery system supporting charities, sports and education launched 

1 March 2007

The Weather Lottery plc ("The Weather Lottery" or the "Company"), the specialist lottery group that raises funds for
charities, educational establishments and sporting bodies by giving people the chance to bet on the weather, has
launched a system allowing punters to play the game on the internet.

The system allows players to place bets using debit and credit cards on the weather on-line through the websites of
their chosen charity, sports team, school or university.

Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Club is the first of the Company's clients to launch the online system and can be viewed
on www.sheffieldsteelers.co.uk. 


The Weather Lottery, Chief Executive, Keith Milhench, said:  

"This is an important development for us.  We currently have 1,500 clients and we are now able to offer an online
lottery to these clients as well as other operators in the education, sports and charity sectors (estimated to be over
1,000,000 different organizations).  All of these companies would benefit by raising funds with The Weather Lottery and
