                                 ISSUE OF EQUITY

The  Directors of The Weather Lottery plc are pleased to announce  that  it  has
completed  a  placing of 5,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1  pence  each  (the
"Placing Shares"). The shares were placed with investors at a price of 1.5 pence
each raising in total �75,000.

The  specific purpose of the Placing was to recruit and employ sales  agents  to
convert the thousands of enquiries on The Weather Lottery database. The interest
and  number  of enquiries already received from societies has been  significant,
and  with  additional  staff  employed to assist with  people  registering,  the
Company is now confident of growth over the next twelve months.

Application  has  been  made for the Placing Shares and the  New  Shares  to  be
admitted to trading on AIM on 13 July 2007 ("Admission").

In  addition, the Company has issued 1,250,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1  pence
each  to  SVS  Securities  in lieu of agreed corporate broking  fees  (the  "New
Shares").

Following Admission, the Placing Shares and the New Shares will rank pari  passu
in  all  respects with the existing issued ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each  in
the Company.

The  total  number of ordinary shares in issue following the Placing Shares  and
New Shares will be 83,304,737.

* 4,015,000 Ordinary Shares are held directly by Mr John Green and 625,000
Ordinary Shares are held by the Hornbuckle Mitchell Trustees Limited, a trust
which Mr John Green and his family are beneficiaries.

follow  up  calls to assist with the registration process. We are  delighted  to
