Tullow Oil PLC (TLW.LN), an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Europe, said Tuesday that Total SA (TOT) has acquired a 25% interest in Tullow Oil's Guyane Maritime Permit in French Guiana.

MAIN FACTS:

-The permit, covers an area of approximately 32,000 square kilometers (km2) in water depths ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 meters.
