Ultrasis plc today announces the appointment of Alan Kershaw as Finance Director. The appointment is effective from 2 June 2014, when he will also join the Board.

Alan was previously Finance & Operations Director at WH Ireland Group plc and prior to that worked at JP Morgan and Royal Liver Assurance. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

John Smith, Chief Executive of Ultrasis, said "'We are delighted that Alan has agreed to join the Board at this exciting time. He brings with him significant board level strategic finance experience, latterly as Finance and Operations Director at WH Ireland."

He added "The Company continues to make progress towards profitability and we will continue to develop the business through further acquisitions and contract wins. Alan will focus on ensuring robust financial planning is in place and helping to secure further investment in the Group."
