Valiant Petroleum plc ("the Company") advises that it received notification on 18 April 2013 that on 17 April 2013 Sandy Shaw, Director Corporate & Commercial, transferred 20,000 ordinary shares of 2.555556 pence each in the Company to her husband for nil consideration. The transfer does not represent a change in Mrs Shaw's beneficial interest in the Company which remains at 268,695 shares (representing 0.65% of the Company's total voting rights).
