ADC (NASDAQ: ADCT)(www.adc.com) will highlight its fiber leadership through its expanded portfolio of fiber solutions and featured FTTP presentations at the 2010 FTTH Conference and Exposition, held at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, Sept. 12–16.

Displayed in ADC’s booth #514, the two new fiber solutions are the FPX Fiber Panel Series and the OmniReach® RealFlex™ Universal Drop Cable. Designed for applications with high termination counts, the FPX fiber panels provide MPO cassettes, termination only and termination/splicing solutions within one, small compact footprint. The panels combine the unique features of vertical cable guides and angle-left/angle-right adapters, offering bend radius protection, intuitive cable routing and easy connector access. The FPX panels are UL 1863 and NEBS compliant to meet carrier requirements.

ADC’s OmniReach RealFlex Universal Drop Cable is designed to meet all outdoor drop cable requirements, as well as indoor drop cable requirements, in a single, all-in-one solution. The Universal Drop Cable offers exceptional savings by eliminating the need for splice labor and termination equipment at the premises wall, as well as eliminating the need to purchase, warehouse and deploy multiple cable types for service drop cable applications.

  • Ron Kleckowski, market manager for OSP products at ADC, will present “Growing Demand for Multi-Fiber Connectors Is Driving New Applications in the CO, MDU and OSP” on Wednesday, September 15, from 7:15-7:30 a.m.
  • Ron Kleckowski also will present “New Innovations in OSP Cabling Technology Revolutionize Service Provider Operations and Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) Builds” on Tuesday, September 14, from 4:00-4:15 p.m.
