Advanta to Report Second Quarter 2009 Results in Form 10-Q Filing

Advanta Corp. (NASDAQ:ADVNB; ADVNA) today announced that its second quarter results will be reported in the Company�s quarterly Form 10-Q filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and not earlier. Results for the quarter will include the impact of the Company�s securitization trust�s early amortization which was effective on June 1 and the closing of customers� accounts to future use effective May 30. The filing deadline for the 10-Q report is August 10, 2009. Subsequent to the filing, management will be available to address questions from analysts and institutional investors.
