(NASDAQ:AMFI) announced today that Guy Francesconi, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, has assumed the role of Corporate Secretary. This position was held by James S. Waddell, who recently announced his retirement. Francesconi, who joined AMCORE in February 2006, has over 20 years experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining AMCORE, Francesconi held various counsel positions within Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.
