John Melcher Joins Beneficial Bank as Senior Vice President, Director of Human Resources

Beneficial Bank (NASDAQ:BNCL), a leader in providing financial

160 years, has named John Melcher as Senior Vice President,
Director of Human Resources. Melcher joins Beneficial with
over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry as a
leader in the human resources field.

Prior to joining Beneficial Bank, Melcher served as Vice
President, Human Resources for AmerisourceBergen Corporation in
Conshohocken, PA, where he partnered with C-level executives to
define, advance, and reinforce the enterprise talent vision.
He delivered an engaged, highly productive workforce through
organization and leadership development supported by a culture of
leader accountability. Melcher spent most of his previous
career at Wachovia, followed by a short tenure at TD Bank.
