First Federal Bancorp Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend ZANESVILLE,
Ohio, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- First Federal Bancorp, Inc.
today announced the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly
cash dividend of $0.06 per common share, which represents a 9%
increase over the amount paid for the same period last year. The
dividend is payable on April 2, 2004 to shareholders of record on
March 17, 2004. J. William Plummer, President and Chief Executive
Officer, stated, "Positive contributions are being realized from
our focused growth strategy. During the first quarter fiscal 2004
we achieved a solid increase in loans, maintained strong credit
quality, and improved non-interest income. These factors are
anticipated to contribute to improvement in our full-year
performance compared to fiscal 2003." First Federal Bancorp, Inc.
