e-Dialog, a proven provider of advanced e-mail and multichannel
marketing solutions within the GSI Commerce (Nasdaq: GSIC) Global
Marketing Services division, today announced that international B2B
publishing house Incisive Media has selected the company to
optimize its digital marketing campaigns and news alerts. The two
companies will implement a sophisticated digital marketing and
editorial strategy to enable more effective customer communications
across more than 100 global publications and events.
Jon Bentley, head of Digital Strategy and Development for
Incisive Media, commented: “e-Dialog’s proven track record of
working with news publishers was an important criterion in our
decision. In addition, the company’s suite of services combined
with deep data and content integration was a cost-effective
solution to allow our marketing team to better understand our
customers’ interests and preferences across all of our
publications, leading to more relevant and timely marketing
communications and effective editorial alerts. Further, we look
forward to integrating additional channels, including mobile, into
our digital strategy. This will provide a superior service to our
readers and subscribers and create new revenue-generating
opportunities for our titles, events and advertisers. It ensures
the customer remains at the heart of everything we do.”
Incisive Media will self-deploy its campaigns by integrating
e-Dialog’s comprehensive Precision Central suite of e-mail
marketing applications with their existing technology systems to
automate and simplify existing campaign and data processes.
e-Dialog will also design, build and host an advanced preference
centre to encompass all titles, allowing the publisher to gain a
holistic view of the most up-to-date information about existing and
potential subscribers. The companies will also implement a series
of automated lifecycle trigger campaigns and real-time
transactional messages. More than 100 Incisive Media users
worldwide will implement editorial campaigns using e-Dialog’s News
Publisher application, enabling greater automation of content
generation and message deployment across Incisive Media’s broad
portfolio of publications.
Corrina Murphy, account director, e-Dialog International added:
“With the move to online media, traditional publishers are finding
new ways to keep their content relevant and timely to ensure that
their magazines thrive in the digital environment. Incisive Media,
the 2010 AOP Digital Business Publisher, has the most respected
portfolio of publications across a diverse range of sectors and we
aim to help them find new ways to communicate and connect with
their audience digitally as well as cope with the increasing demand
for online breaking news content.”
