Homeowners Choice, Inc. (Nasdaq:HCII), a Florida-based insurance holding company, today announced that its board of directors has declared cash dividends of 5.833 cents per share on its Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock ("HCIIP") for the months ending September 30, October 31 and November 30, 2012.

The September dividend is payable October 29, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 1, 2012.

The October 2012 dividend is payable November 27, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 1, 2012.

The November 2012 dividend is payable December 27, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 3, 2012.
