Explanatory Note: This Form 8-K/A is filed to correct the date of the event previously reported.

ITEM 8.01. Other Events.

On November 14, 2007, K-Fed Bancorp issued a press release disclosing that Kaiser Federal Financial Group, Inc., the proposed holding company for Kaiser Federal Bank, and K-Fed Mutual Holding Company have received conditional approval from the Office of Thrift Supervision on November 9, 2007 to commence its second step conversion and offering.  K-Fed Bancorp also announced that the registration statement relating to the sale of common stock of Kaiser Federal Financial Group, Inc. was declared effective on November 9, 2007 by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
