(Nasdaq: MROI), the leading provider of asset and service management solutions today announced the opening of the 2006 Maximo Life Sciences Working Group conference, being held February 22-23. MRO Software customer, Bristol-Myers Squibb will host the conference that will focus on maximizing asset performance in the global life sciences industry. The meeting has attracted more than 50 users from nearly 20 of MRO Software's life sciences customers. Also in attendance are more than a dozen business and technology partners. Attendees come together to discuss their use of Maximo(R), MRO Software's asset and service management solution. The Maximo Life Sciences Working Group represents Maximo users and industry professionals in all facets of the life sciences industry, from research and development to production and packaging. The conference features a variety of industry specific topics and operational issues, providing Maximo users with a forum to gather and share information. Specific agenda items include calibration, validation, regulatory compliance, mobile computing strategies, the impact of electronic signatures and adherence to the Maintenance Baseline Guide as being drafted by ISPE (Industrial Society for Pharmaceutical Engineers). In addition, there are four customer-driven sessions highlighting successful Maximo implementations. MRO Software will provide specific details on its latest calibration package for Maximo Enterprise Suite (MXES), and other features and functionality designed for the life sciences industries.
