Saucony, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCNYA and SCNYB) announced today that Institutional Shareholder Services, Inc. (ISS), the nation's leading independent proxy advisory firm, has recommended that Saucony shareholders vote FOR the proposed acquisition of Saucony by The Stride Rite Corporation (NYSE: SRR) at Saucony's special meeting of stockholders on Friday, September 16, 2005.
