SOMERSET, N.J., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TeamStaff,
Inc., (Nasdaq: TSTF), a leading logistics and healthcare
services provider to the Federal Government and Department of
Defense, announced today that it has commenced performance of its
five-year contract with the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH),
which it previously valued up to $3.3M, to provide healthcare services support. In
addition to providing registered nurses, licensed practical nurses,
and certified nursing assistants, TeamStaff will implement its
proprietary Practitioner Resource Allocation Tool "PRAT".
PRAT is a web-based information management system used for the
management, scheduling, monitoring and reporting of human capital
resources. TeamStaff believes PRAT offers unique advantages
in providing the services requested by AFRH and was instrumental in
securing the contract for the Company. The contract award was
originally announced in December 2009
and scheduled to commence February
2010. However, implementation of the contract was
deferred by AFRH due to objections to the bidding process that
resulted in the re-solicitation of bids and the re-award of the
contract to TeamStaff Government Solutions, Inc.
