Ultimate Electronics Announces Appointments of Two Senior Vice Presidents And One Vice President DENVER, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ultimate Electronics, Inc. , a leading specialty retailer in home entertainment and consumer electronics, today announced the appointments of Jim Pearse as senior vice president of marketing and merchandising, Gerry Demple as senior vice president of repair and installation services, and Steve Connell as vice president of information technology. Jim Pearse has been with the company since 1993 and most recently served as its vice president of marketing. In his new position of senior vice president of marketing and merchandising, Pearse will be responsible for developing the company's marketing and merchandising strategies and designing procedures to implement such strategies. Pearse will also be responsible for prioritizing the company's merchandising and marketing objectives and opportunities. In addition, he will focus the company's marketing and merchandising teams on effective product selection, managing vendor relations and communicating marketing initiatives. Gerry Demple has been with Ultimate Electronics since 1978 and most recently served as vice president of installation services.
