Voxware, Inc. (Nasdaq: VOXW), a leading supplier of software for voice-driven warehousing operations, announced that Carter’s, the world’s number one children’s brand, has selected and deployed its Voxware 3 software. Originally deployed with the Motorola WT4090, Carter’s also operates the Voxware voice solution using the new Motorola WT4090 Voice Only Wearable.

“We chose Voxware because they are a software company with a flexible product. We were able to deploy the Motorola VOW without making any changes to either our Voxware or Manhattan Associates applications, and without retraining any employees,” said Peter Kok, Director of Supply Chain Process Development at Carter’s. “The new VOW works flawlessly and delivers excellent results for Carter’s. It’s a great addition to our fulfillment toolset.”

“Portability of our solution is a key strategic commitment Voxware has made, and Carter’s has been able to validate our ability in that area,” said Scott Yetter, Voxware CEO. “We worked with Motorola as its new VOW was being readied for market, and were impressed with how well it performed from our initial internal testing right through to actual customer usage in the field.”

“Motorola’s new WT4090 Voice Only Wearable computer enables enterprise customers to replace paper-based processes with voice-directed solutions to enable real-time processing, reduce errors and improve decision making,” said Gerald McNerney, vice president of mobile computing product management, Motorola Enterprise Mobility Solutions. “Working closely with Voxware, we are able to provide customers like Carter’s, with a reliable and proven voice solution to improve warehouse operations.”

Voxware 3, the configurable voice software product for the warehouse, is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2010 with the Motorola WT4090 VOW.
