VitalStream Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:VSTH), a world leader in audio
and video streaming, today announced that ABC Radio, a division of
ABC, Inc. and the largest radio network in the US, has selected
VitalStream as its exclusive provider of online ad-insertion and
streaming media solutions. VitalStream will provide its Windows
Media Streaming Service as the core technology powering the
majority of ABC Radio's stations and network properties. In
addition, the solution will leverage VitalStream's proprietary
ad-insertion technology for highly targeted ad delivery and
FastAim(TM) custom reporting and advertising system providing
robust reporting capabilities and multiple advertising formats
including audio/video and rich media. As a part of this agreement,
VitalStream will represent ABC Radio's streaming inventory for
advertising sales. "We are extremely excited to provide our
full-service advertising service to ABC Radio," stated Jack
Waterman, chairman and chief executive officer of VitalStream.
"Since acquiring our ad-insertion technology from Eonstreams in
May, this implementation is the most concrete example of
VitalStream's ability to deliver a powerful combination of
feature-rich, fully-integrated ad delivery and streaming
technology. Our relationship with ABC Radio is validation of our
strategy to capitalize on the rapidly-growing online advertising
market as we help content owners leverage their digital assets
through the generation of new revenue streams." "I am thrilled that
ABC Radio has chosen FastAim from VitalStream as their ad serving
platform," said Stephen Newman, executive vice president of
advertising solutions for VitalStream. "Advertisers and listening
audiences will see a great benefit to having ads served to them
that are relevant to their personal needs and desires."
VitalStream's advertising software solution inserts in-stream
advertisements into 'live' and 'on-demand' Internet streaming
broadcasts to target specific listener demographics, enabling
advertisers to reach the most engaged opt-in audio and video
audiences with a seamless, in-stream advertising experience.
Campaign management and ad-results reporting complete the
comprehensive solution. "ABC Radio believes the FastAim ad
insertion product from VitalStream Ad Services will enable us to
