Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) now provides lower costs and increased performance for enterprises who select ACS to host and service their Lawson S3 Enterprise Resource Planning initiative. ACS delivers the added value through an expanded partnership with Lawson Software, as a Preferred Hosting Partner.

"ACS has a proven track record with its managed hosting services and has earned this preferred hosting partner designation."

Lawson granted the designations to ACS after a complete evaluation of its computing infrastructure, business processes and technical staff. ACS currently has 12 data centers housing more than 20,000 servers and is a leader in data center management.

"This expanded relationship will result in better outcomes for our clients," said Chad Harris, senior vice president for ACS. "Our depth of experience and preferred standing with Lawson will enable our clients to benefit from ACS’ superior performance and more extensive resources, while capitalizing on Lawson’s strengths."

Since 2000, ACS has offered Lawson S3 application hosting and system integration. Through this new alliance, ACS offers solutions that can lower customers' total costs, increase customer ROI and maximize the performance of organizations that select ACS to run and manage their Lawson implementation as part of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative.

ACS will offer remote application maintenance and monitoring, performance tuning, patch management, support desk help, hosting, management consulting, system integration, and business process outsourcing to Lawson customers in the United States and Canada.

ACS provides multiple industries, including hospitals, clinics and medical practitioners around the world with information technology, clinical solutions and a full array of management services so healthcare providers can operate more efficiently and effectively using world-class consulting and outsourcing services.
