ALPHA EXPLORATION INC. (TSX-V:AEX) ("Alpha" or the "Company") announced that Garrett Ainsworth, the Company's former VP Exploration (the "Former VP"), has repudiated his employment agreement with the Company. The Company has accepted the repudiation and the Former VP is no longer employed by the Company, effective immediately. The Company is actively recruiting potential candidates to serve as VP Exploration, concurrent with its normal course of business of advancing its core properties by an array of internal and external professionals.

The Company also announced that discussions concerning a potential transaction with NexGen Energy Ltd. ("NexGen") have terminated due to a breach of a contractual obligation by NexGen.

The Company is considering its legal rights and options for recourse in connection with the improper actions taken by each of the Former VP and NexGen.

The Company is well funded and positioned to continue work on its Middle Lake, Carpenter Lake and Hook Lake properties. The Company will continue to provide updates as data are received on its recently completed winter exploration programs, and on plans for follow up programs this summer.
