1502 GMT- Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria is among the most mentioned companies across news items over the past 12 hours, according to Factiva data, after the Spanish bank booked its highest-ever annual net profit in 2022. BBVA said its net profit for the year came in at EUR6.42 billion, up from EUR4.65 billion in 2021, as lending rose 13% on the year in 2022. The Madrid-based lender declared a final 2022 dividend of 31 European cents a share, alongside a EUR422 million share buyback. Combined, BBVA's shareholder-remuneration plans amounts to 38 European Cents a share, or 15% ahead of consensus estimates, Citi analysts said in a research note. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva.
