INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Cingular Wireless, the nation's largest wireless carrier, received the top ranking of all wireless carriers in the Greater Indianapolis area, based on drive-test results from a leading wireless research company that provides information, insight and performance measurements for the wireless industry. The test measured which carrier had the fewest number of dropped, blocked and incomplete calls. Cingular received the "Most Reliable" network rating in Indianapolis and the surrounding counties of Shelby, Johnson, Hancock, Hendricks, Boone, Hamilton and Morgan. "By the end of 2005, Cingular will have invested over $90 million in our network in Indiana. Already our investment is paying off as shown by the results of this test."
