Oklahoma Running Back Adrian Peterson Vying for a Record Third Cingular Wireless/ABC Sports All-America Player of the Week Award ATLANTA, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Adrian Peterson continues to turn in record-setting performances and turn the heads of college football fans nationwide in the process. Oklahoma's freshman running back rushed for 240 yards and three touchdowns in the Sooners' 35-0 win at Baylor yesterday to earn his third Cingular Wireless/ABC Sports All-America Player of the Week nomination.
