Coca-Cola European Partners PLC on Thursday reported a fall in
2020 pretax profit as revenue declined, and said it was unable to
provide guidance for 2021 due to continuing uncertainty stemming
from the coronavirus pandemic.
The London-listed beverage company said pretax profit was 695
million euros ($842.3 million), compared with EUR1.45 billion for
2019.
Operating profit--one of the company's preferred metrics--was
EUR813 million, compared with EUR1.55 billion, the company
said.
Revenue fell to EUR10.60 billion from EUR12.02 billion a year
prior, it said.
