RICHMOND, Va., April 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Chesapeake Corporation (NYSE:CSK) today announced the election of David A. Winter and J. Christopher Naftzger as corporate officers. Winter was named assistant vice president - human resources, and J. Christopher Naftzger was named assistant secretary & assistant general counsel. Winter has served as director of human resources since joining the company in 1997. Prior to that he served in various management roles with Best Products since 1975. Winter received a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Richmond. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (with SPHR certification), Richmond Human Resource Management Association, Richmond Human Resources Leadership Roundtable, WorldatWork and the World Affairs Council. Naftzger has served as assistant general counsel since joining the company in July 2007. Prior to joining Chesapeake, Naftzger was senior counsel for Koch Industries, Inc. in Wichita, Kan. He was a partner with the law firm of Blank Rome LLP in Washington, D.C. prior to joining Koch. Naftzger received a bachelor's degree from Hampden-Sydney College and juris doctorate degree from the Willamette University College of Law. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Maryland Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
