SB LiMotive Co., a 50:50 joint venture between South Korea's Samsung SDI Co. (006400.SE) and Germany's Bosch, will supply lithium ion batteries to Delphi Corp. (DPH) from 2012 in a 10-year contract, Samsung SDI said Tuesday.

Delphi will use the batteries in battery packs and propulsion systems which will equip hybrid commercial trucks and buses, Samsung SDI said in a statement.

It didn't provide the contract value.
