Fedders Names David B. Schumacher, President, Fedders Commercial HVAC LIBERTY CORNER, N.J., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (NYSE:FJC), a leading global manufacturer of air treatment products, including air conditioners, air cleaners, dehumidifiers and humidifiers, and thermal technology products, today announced that it has appointed David B. Schumacher, President, Fedders Commercial HVAC. Mr. Schumacher will have direct responsibility for Fedders' new business unit, Fedders Commercial HVAC, which is comprised of Fedders Eubank Company, Inc. in Longview, Texas and Fedders Addison Company, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. The business unit manufactures and markets a broad line of air conditioning products including wall mount packaged air conditioners and heat pumps, rooftop packaged heating and cooling units, vertical packaged units, water source heat pumps, condensing units and air handlers for commercial and institutional markets. Mr. Schumacher has extensive experience in the commercial HVAC industry, beginning his career with Lennox Industries and advancing in positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, marketing and product management with Snyder General Corporation and International Comfort Products, where his last assignment was Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Products Group from 1997 through 1999. From 1999 through 2001, Schumacher served as President of the Heating Products Division of Desa International, Inc. Most recently, he held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Pro Group Incorporated, where he was instrumental in merging the company with a larger competitor.
