Morgan Stanley Investment Management announced today portfolio management changes for Morgan Stanley Income Securities Inc. (NYSE:ICB) (the “Fund”). The Fund is managed by the Taxable Fixed Income team of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc. (the “Adviser”). The team consists of portfolio managers and analysts. The members of the team jointly and primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fund are Joseph Mehlman and Christian G. Roth, each a Managing Director of the Adviser. Mr. Mehlman has been associated with the Adviser in an investment management capacity since 2002 and began managing the Fund in November 2008. Mr. Roth has been associated with the Adviser or its investment management affiliates in an investment management capacity since 1991 and began managing the Fund in February 2009.

The Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company that seeks to provide as high a level of current income for distribution to stockholders as is consistent with prudent investment risk and, as a secondary objective, capital appreciation.
