Nuveen Texas Quality Income Municipal Fund Announces Optional Redemption Price on MuniFund Term Preferred Shares

Nuveen Investments, a leading global provider of investment services to institutions as well as individual investors, today announced the optional redemption price payable on the MuniFund Term Preferred (MTP) shares called for redemption by the Nuveen Texas Quality Income Municipal Fund (NYSE: NTX). As previously announced, the fund will redeem all of its outstanding MTP shares on April 20, 2015. The optional redemption price includes the liquidation preference of $10.00 per MTP share plus an additional amount equal to all unpaid dividends and distributions accumulated to (but excluding) the optional redemption date of April 20, 2015.
