Exelon Corp.'s (EXC) planned $6.8 billion acquisition of Pepco
Holdings Inc. (PEP), which had faced regulatory resistance, has
been approved by the D.C. Public Service Commission, the Washington
Post reported Wednesday.
Pepco shares recently traded at $27.11, up 27.6%.
