--Lawsuits seeking to hold social media platforms liable to
victims of a 2015 mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., were
dismissed earlier this week, CNBC reports Wednesday.
--The lawsuits said Facebook (FB), Google and Twitter Inc.
(TWTR) should be held liable, as they allowed Islamic State to use
their sites, the report said.
--A federal judge dismissed the suits, and none of the companies
immediately responded for comment, the report said.
--In December 2015, Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen
