VANCOUVER, March 2 /CNW/ -- VANCOUVER, March 2 /CNW/ - Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSX - BU) announced today that the company has amended the Letter of Intent between Burcon and Archer Daniels Midland Company (the "LOI") to extend the date for completing a definitive license agreement for Burcon's CLARISOY(®) technology until noon hour on March 4, 2011. The stand still/no-shop agreement with ADM, which forms part of the LOI, is equally extended until noon hour on March 4, 2011. Except for the amendments disclosed above, all the other terms of the LOI remain unchanged.
