DAY Ceridian HCM Holding Inc

At 10:20a.m. MST on March 4, 2011, Daylight Energy (TSX:DAY) experienced a well
leak (Pembina 7-31-46-10W5M) in the Brazeau area. 


During a well servicing operation to suspend the well, a leak occurred in the
wellhead which, in turn, ignited. The cause of the ignition is unknown at this
time. 


There have not been any injuries and there is no one living in the area of the
incident. There is no current danger to the public. Earlier today a helicopter
surveyed the area to check for trappers and recreational users. Rovers have also
been posted on roads as a precaution. 


The fire is contained and is expected to burn itself out; however, Daylight has
contracted an area safety company. The companyis onsite and is currently pumping
water on the area and will continue to do so as needed.


The latest acid gas readings taken 1.6 km downwind from the location at 4:07
p.m. detected no more than trace amounts of hydrogen sulphide or sulphur
dioxide.
