of Mr. Andre J. Rancourt, P.Eng., PhD. as the Deputy Mine Manager. Mr. Rancourt
brings more than 20 years of geotechnical engineering and rock mechanics
experience to the Ressources Appalaches Team. The addition of rock mechanic
expertise provides Ressources Appalaches with another highly desirable in-house
capability. Having this often outsourced expertise in-house is another testament
to the strength of the project, and which further amplifies and elevates the
multi-disciplinary Dufferin Management team. The Company is also pleased to
report on the advancement of underground works.

Deputy Mine Manager Appointment

Mr. Rancourt acquired his Ph.D., Mining Dept, McGill University, in 2010 and a
M.A.Sc., Mining Dept. Rock Mechanics, Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 1996.
He has since realised over 10 geological, mining and rock mechanics studies for
underground and surface mines. He has also participated in the design of other
metals and gold mining projects around the world.

"M. Rancourt's technical expertise and his past experiences as a supervisor
within multi-disciplinary teams will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing the
technical expertise of the Dufferin Mine Team" stated Alain Hupe, President and
CEO.

Underground Progress

During the past few weeks the Company has begun the underground safety
inspection and the initial rock mechanic evaluation, as well as started the
underground rehab activities. Moreover, the primary ventilation fan for the
