VANCOUVER, Oct. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Robert L. Card, President of Arrowstar Resources
Ltd., ("Arrowstar" or the "Company") (TSXV: AWS), is pleased to
report that the Company has completed the ground magnetics survey
on its Roberts Lake Iron Ore property in Ungava, Quebec. Geotronics Consulting Inc., of
Surrey, BC, Canada, has provided the preliminary results
and modelling of the data. Due to weather conditions and logistical
constraints the whole property that is more than 43 sq kilometres
wasn't surveyed however the key areas that contained the rock chip
samples of high Fe values were:

The magnetic survey shows highs extending in an
arc formation that is consistent with the folded strata containing
the iron ore bearing taconites and quartz carbonate
assemblages. The highs of 116,000 nano Teslas confirm the
extent of the iron ore exposed on the surface. The first arc
formation contains two areas of approximately 400 metres wide by
700 metres long and a third area to the west of 2,400 metres by 400
metres wide. The sharp contrast between the magnetic and non
magnetic area shows strong structural control that will assist in
the mining phase.
Further geophysics modeling will be conducted to
allow a drill program and site location to be defined.
