Broadband Learning Corporation ("Broadband Learning" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: BLC), a participant in the rapidly expanding distance learning market, today announced its entry into the distance learning market for teachers, and also the issuance of 279,473 shares of the Company's common stock in satisfaction of certain interest payments.

A marketing agreement has been signed with School Improvement Network, Inc. ("SiNet") of Sandy, Utah, under which Broadband Learning will market and distribute SiNet's PD 360 programs to post secondary institutions primarily in the United States. PD 360 is a library of professional teacher development resources that make professional learning more effective, convenient, and sustainable. With over 200 hours of research-based video content, plus tools for follow-up, tracking, reflection, and group training, PD 360 is a comprehensive solution to professional teacher development needs.

"This agreement gives Broadband Learning access to a premiere library of high quality courses to sell online in the post secondary learning environment" said Bob Dameron, President and CEO of the Company. "It also gives us a core curriculum to begin construction of an online Masters of Education program" said Dameron.

Broadband Learning earlier this week also issued an aggregate of 279,473 shares of its common stock to eight holders of certain notes payable by the Company. As disclosed in the September 30, 2008 interim financial statements, the principal amount of the notes were paid off during the third quarter and the note holders agreed to accept these shares at a price of $0.10 per share in satisfaction of accrued interest payments.
