Brigadier Gold Limited ("Brigadier" or the "Corporation") (NEX:BRG.H) is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Mr. Shlomo Booklin of Oakville, Ontario to advise the company regarding opportunities in the cannabis cultivation industry in Colombia. Mr. Booklin has been involved in the horticulture business in Israel, Europe as well as Canada and Colombia for the last 30 years.  Since 2014, Mr. Booklin has worked with a number of the largest cannabis L.P.s in Canada, namely Tilray, MedReleaf, Green Pharma and others, where he worked as a master grower, assisted in maximising production as well as sharing the “know how” involved in growing successfully on a commercial scale, while complying with Health Canada regulations. 

Mr. Booklin has also been working closely with the leading medicinal cannabis growers, researchers & scientists in Israel, to produce exclusive specific medicinal strains. For the last 12 months Mr. Booklin has been consulting with various cannabis licence applicants in Colombia’s rapidly growing cannabis business

The surge of news regarding the entry of large cannabis companies such as Pharmacielo, Khiron and more recently Scythian Biosciences Corp. into the Colombia market supports the belief that Colombia is one of the very best jurisdictions to grow cannabis at a very low cost.   

Mr. Booklin’s experience working with profitable large scale commercial operations, and his unique familiarity with the Cannabis industry in Canada and Colombia will assist Brigadier in evaluating opportunities which the Corporation is currently exploring.
