Beartooth Platinum Corporation (TSX VENTURE:BTP) resumed drilling yesterday at
their Stillwater Project in Montana which had been temporarily shut down due to
a forest fire in the Custer National Forest.

Mr. Michael D. Johnson, President and CEO stated "Although the fire continues to
burn, the US Forest Service, as a result of our positive relationship and
ongoing discussions, have given us an exemption to continue the drilling
program. Consequently, we are very pleased to be able to resume our planned
drill program. The USFS continues to monitor the fire and we will be kept
up-to-date on any new developments."

Beartooth's second drill rig has arrived on site and will be mobilized as soon
as possible into the target drill locations.
