Ditem Explorations: 6.2 Meter Highly Altered Hydrothermal Zone Intersected

Ditem Explorations (TSX VENTURE: DIT) is pleased to announce that
it has completed the second phase of the 2010 drill program on its
Otish Uranium property. The drill program consisted of two holes,
WB-17 and WB-18 in the northeast sector of the property.
Drilling targeted a northeast-southwest striking conductor
identified in the Spring of 2010 on which WB-15 had been drilled at
approximately 100 m northeast of a crosscutting fault. WB-15
intersected intense hydrothermal alterations and the gabbro dyke at
a vertical depth of about 50 m. WB-17 and WB-18 were respectively
drilled at 100 meters to the southwest and 150 meters to the
northeast of WB-15 along the dyke. As expected, WB-17 appears to
confirm the beginning of the dyke.
WB-18 intersected a 7.5 meter wide (6.2 m horizontal true width)
intensively altered hydrothermal zone at about 70 m vertical depth.
Low but anomalous uranium values were obtained with a RS-125
Spectrometer, on the intensively altered zone particularly at the
gabro/sandstone contact. The altered gabbro dyke and alteration
halo have strong hematisation and limonitisation which are
characteristic of uranium mineralisation in the Otish Basin. Based
on previous geophysical work last Spring, the dyke is at least 1.1
km long and should extend further northeast. 55 core samples have
been sent for analysis.
"We now know that along this dyke, at 70 m depth, there is a
highly altered zone both in the sandstone and the dyke, with a low
uranium count and possibly extending between two holes over a
distance of some 150 m" stated Raymond Savoie, Chairman and CEO.
"Encouraged by the obvious quality of this 6.2 m hydrothermal
alteration at 70 m depth, as well as the results from the previous
WB-15 and other geological work, we now plan to undertake a drill
program in order to test for good uranium mineralisation which we
expect may be present along this dyke at depth."
