Epic Data Awarded Tier 1 Government of Canada SBIPS Supply Arrangement

Epic Data International Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EKD), a provider of manufacturing
operations management and real-time data collection solutions, today announced
that it has been chosen as a business solutions supplier and awarded a Tier 1
Solutions Based Informatics Professional Services (SBIPS) supply arrangement for
System Integration Services by the Government of Canada.


SBIPS is a Government-wide; fixed price method of supply for professional
services that provides a complete operational solution to a requirement. SBIPS
also covers consulting services that are typically team based and deliverable
focused, involving advisory work and thought leadership. It can be applied to
end-to-end project work, or to the supply of a solution to a business problem
using expertise and a methodology, approach or established solution. Under SBIPS
Tier 1, Epic Data is eligible for requirements up to $2M in value. The System
Integration domain covers services to support the development, maintenance and
integration and testing of system components to merge functional and technical
characteristics into a comprehensive, interoperable system. Services include
project management, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment.
