Geologix Appoints New VP Corporate Communications & Grants Options

Geologix Explorations Inc. (TSX
VENTURE:GIX)(FRANKFURT:GF6)(BERLIN:GF6)(STUTTGART:GF6)(MUNICH:GF6) (the
"Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey R. Wilson as Vice
President, Corporate Communications. Mr. Wilson will be responsible for
implementing and overseeing all facets of the Company's corporate communications
and investor relations programs, with a specific view toward increased
institutional awareness.


Mr. Wilson brings to the company 15 years experience in the mineral exploration
and mining investment industries, and a wealth of contacts throughout the
investment community, including retail brokers, mining analysts, private
investors, fund managers, and institutions. Prior to his appointment at
Geologix, Mr. Wilson acted from 2003 to present as an independent investor
relations consultant to several mineral exploration companies, including Silver
Quest Resources Ltd., Triex Minerals Corporation, and Endurance Gold
Corporation.


Prior to 2003, Mr. Wilson acted as an investor relations manager and served on
the board of directors of two publicly listed companies during the 1990s,
including Aquiline Resources Ltd. and Welcome Opportunities Ltd. (now Endeavour
Mining Capital Corporation).


Geologix wishes to express its gratitude to Michael Mallard for his
contributions to the Company during the period that he served as VP Corporate
Communications.


INCENTIVE STOCK OPTIONS

Geologix also announces it has granted, pursuant to its Stock Option Plan, Stock
Options to certain of its employees and officers to purchase an aggregate of
155,000 common shares at a price of $2.22 per share for a period of 5 years.
