Inca Pacific Appoints Michael Winn to the Board

Inca Pacific Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IPR) is pleased to announce that
Michael Winn has been appointed to the board of directors as an additional
director. Mr. Winn's appointment was made at the request of Exploration Capital
Partners 2008 Limited Partnership, a significant shareholder of the Company. Mr.
Winn is the President of Terrasearch Inc., a private consulting company
providing investment analysis and financial services to private and public
companies operating in the oil and gas, mining and energy sectors. Mr. Winn
resides in California and is a director of several public companies.


Further to the Company's press release of June 12, 2009, Inca Pacific announces
that Exploration Capital has withdrawn its requisition for a meeting of
shareholders to increase the size of the Board.


Anthony Floyd, Chairman of the Company commented: "We are pleased to have
reached this compromise arrangement with Exploration Capital Partners 2008,
allowing it to have meaningful input on Inca Pacific's Board, without our having
to incur the expense of holding another shareholder meeting this year. We look
