KAS Khalkos Exploration

Management of KHALKOS EXPLORATION INC. ("Khalkos") (TSX VENTURE:KAS) announces
the appointment of Mr. Jean-Paul Lacasse as Independant Director following the
resignation of Mr. Rene Lacroix from the Board of Directors.


Mr. Lacasse, Doctor of Law and lawyer, is Professor emeritus at the Faculty of
Law of the University of Ottawa. Author of many books and articles, he has also
held different positions in sectors such as: government, business, mining
exploration, university administration and Aboriginal communities. He has also
sat on the board of directors of several mining exploration companies. 


The Board of Directors would like to warmly thank Mr. Lacroix for his invaluable
contribution during the creation and launch of Khalkos on the stock market.
