Mr. David Patterson, Chairman of Knight Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: KNP)(FRANKFURT: KRL), reports that the Company is proceeding with the consolidation of the issued and outstanding common shares in the capital of the Company on the basis of one post-consolidation common share for every 19 pre-consolidation common shares issued and outstanding. At the most recent annual general meeting on February 17, 2011, shareholders voted in favour of proceeding with the consolidation of shares. Details of the proposed share consolidation are set forth in Knight Resources' management information circular and filed under the Company's profile on SEDAR.

In addition, the Company is proceeding with a name change from Knight Resources Ltd. to Knight Metals Ltd.

The proposed share consolidation and name change are subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.
