OREX EXPLORATION INC.( TSX VENTURE: OX)(FRANKFURT: O5D) held its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders last Friday, December 18, 2009, in Montreal. The board of directors, as elected by the shareholders present or represented at this Meeting, is now comprised of: Mark Billings, Michael Dehn, David Hatchette, Louis Lapointe, Jacques Levesque and Claude Poulin. The board of directors would like to thank Mr. Ali Abbas Al Hazeem for his leadership of the board of directors of Orex over the past two years.

The shareholders of Orex also approved a change to the Company's stock option plan, increasing the number of options reserved for grant from 9,900,000 to 14,000,000; this represents less than 10% of the shares issued and outstanding. Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton LLP, chartered accountants, were also re-appointed as the Company's auditors.

The new board of directors re-appointed Mark Billings as President and CEO of the Company and appointed Jacques Levesque as Chief Financial Officer. In addition, a total of 3,800,000 options were granted to directors, officers and consultants, with a total of 2,700,000 options granted to directors and officers of the Company and a total of 1,100,000 options granted to consultants to the Company. Each option enables its holder to acquire one common share of Orex Exploration at a price of $0.15 for a period of five years from the date of grant.

The Company will provide shareholders shortly with a general corporate update, including information on the upcoming drilling campaign at Goldboro.
