People Corporation Completes $10.4 Million Bought Deal Private Placement Financing

People Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PEO) ("People" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce that it has completed its previously announced bought deal private
placement financing (the "Offering") with Cormark Securities Inc. and Acumen
Capital Finance Partners Limited (the "Underwriters") acting as co-lead
underwriters. The Company issued 4,815,050 common shares (the "Shares") at a
purchase price of $2.15 per Share, which included the exercise in full of the
Underwriters' over-allotment option of 628,050 Shares, for gross proceeds of
approximately $10.4 million. The Underwriters received a cash commission equal
to 5.5% of the gross proceeds raised in the Offering.


The net proceeds of the Offering will be used for growth opportunities, debt
repayment and general corporate purposes.


The Shares issued in connection with the Offering are subject to a restrictive
legend which expires on August 24, 2014.
