Potash North Resource Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:PON) is pleased
to announce that it has been provided confirmation from the Saskatchewan Mines
Branch that a potash permit has been issued in respect of potash permit
application KP 416 covering approximately 91,000 acres. The Company holds rights
to acquire potash permit KP 416 under a Memorandum of Agreement (the "Peninsula
Agreement") with Peninsula Merchant Syndications Corp., as described in greater
detail in the Company's news release of May 12, 2008 (disseminated under its
former name "Timer Explorations Inc." and symbol "TES"). Both of the historic
drill holes reported in that news release lie within KP 416. The Company expects
the permit in respect of application KP 417 will be issued shortly by the
Saskatchewan government.

Trading in the shares of the Company will resume at market open on Wednesday
June 4, 2008.
